We are very fortunate to have Monte Stiles as our February speaker. Beginning in 1987, Monte was appointed as the Asst. US Attorney for the State of Idaho and supervised the Organized Crime/Drug Enforcement Task Force to protect Idaho from high level drug trafficking organizations, but also conducted investigations with foreign law enforcement agencies from Hong Kong, Thailand, Fiji, Australia, Canada, and many others.

Monte has been a passionate educator, teaching drug prevention and investigations courses to law enforcement agencies not only in the US, but also in Columbia, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary and several other countries.

As of late, Monte has been diligently working at the Idaho Capitol, spear heading committee’s, legislative bills and consulting with Idaho lawmakers, keeping drugs from becoming legal in our state and advising on sentencing guidelines for fentanyl and other toxic substances.
